We’re looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Machined and Cast Components who is passionate about driving supplier excellence, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that every component meets the highest standards. In this influential role, you will champion continuous improvement and serve as a key technical interface between our suppliers, engineering, sourcing, and production teams. Your expertise will directly impact product performance, customer satisfaction, and cost of quality.

 What You’ll Do

  • Own the quality performance of a diverse supply base with a focus on casting and machined engine components.

  • Resolve supplier quality issues through root cause analysis, corrective action leadership, and real time problem resolution.

  • Manage deviations, rejects, reporting, and continuous improvement plans that strengthen long term supplier capability.

  • Lead PPAP qualification activities to ensure seamless onboarding of new components and suppliers.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations to achieve performance, cost, and quality goals.

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and represent Supplier Quality on teams such as NPI, Tiger, etc. and other key projects.

  • Actively contribute to our Continuous Improvement culture (CI projects, RCAs, Q-Cases, and more).

What You’ll bring:

  • A technical degree (preferably in Engineering) or equivalent relevant technical background.

  • Extensive Quality experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, including supplier facing roles working with casting and machined components.

  • Proven ability to drive change and influence outcomes in a fast-paced, challenging business environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and understanding of supplier agreements.

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, warehousing operations, and quality management systems.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—able to work effectively across functions and global teams.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a working knowledge of business finance.

  • A proactive mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality excellence, and continuous improvement.

Additional Details:

  • Location: Waukesha, WI

  • Travel: 30–40% globally to develop supplier relationships, conduct qualification audits, and support critical program activities.
